  26.    To run Communicator, you MUST have a 32-bit TCP/IP stack.
  27.    Both Windows 95 and Windows NT provide built-in 32-bit TCP/IP
  28.    stacks that you can set up. You can also get TCP/IP
  29.    software from third-party vendors, such as Trumpet Software
  30.    or Ftp Software.

  32.    To obtain a copy of Netscape Communicator, download one of the
  33.    self-extracting executable files into a temporary directory.

  35.    For Communicator Base:

  37.    cb32d45.exe (standard installation with domestic encryption)

  39.    For Communicator Complete:

  48.    To start the installation process, double-click the self-extracting 
  49.    file.

  51. * Windows 95 and Windows NT users: if you are using any version of
  52.   Communicator prior to 4.5, you will get multiple uninstall entries 
  53.   in your Add/Remove program.  To avoid these multiple entries, 
  54.   uninstall your previous version of Communicator before you install 
  55.   the new release.

  57. * The Netscape Audio Plug-in only works if you have a sound
  58.   card installed and configured properly.  This plug-in does not work
  59.   with the PC speaker driver. To configure the sound card, check the 
  60.   documentation that came with your sound card.

  62. * If you previously installed CoolTalk Watchdog, you need to
  63.   uninstall the Communicator version you have and restart your 
  64.   system before installing Communicator 4.5. You might experience 
  65.   problems running Cooltalk with Matrox MGA Millennium graphic
  66.   adapters using early Windows 95 drivers. Make sure that you are
  67.   running version 2.22.039 or later.

  69. * If you uninstalled an earlier version of Communicator, restart
  70.   your system before installing the latest version of Communicator. 
  71.   Restarting deletes old Communicator files that may exist.
